We do not use AI for either custom or premade covers as of now.
Process starts by submitting information about the book and a deposit payment(50%). Then it will take 7 days to deliver the first 2 concepts.
From there it could be done or could need a few tweaks. Or even a few new concepts.
It could take 2-3 weeks on average, bordering a month if things aren't smooth.
Usually, I deliver 2 concepts to start with. If another round is needed, the same amount is added.
Deposit is 50% of whatever payment package price (round it up to not have cents in it).
All deposits are refundable in case of non-delivery due to the designer's fault. Or mutual agreement.

Once author gets in touch to order a cover, I send out a questionnaire about the book which will ask for details like author name, title, synopsis(if available), character looks, special requests etc
